The Work
As a trained Forensic Anthropologist, with additional formalised training in Archaeology, Anatomy, Pathology and Information Technology, I am dedicated to the search for and identification of missing persons. The work I do within the multidisciplinary identification teams is for the benefit of the loved ones of the deceased, as everyone deserves to be returned to and mourned by their loved ones.
In some cases, this is not possible. The work is then focused on trying to understand who the person is and what happened to them. Sometimes the focus shifts to improving the resources, recording of information, and improving the methods for future identifications.
